Update for Shelby

Maggie has somehow become a huge fan of Mickey Mouse. Below she is sitting in her chair (the only time she sits still) having some juice and watching in her Candy Cane pjs.

We went to see Santa with Pierce, Ian, Michelle and Ju-Ju. Due to the candy canes he was passing out, he was a big hit.

This is a wreath that Maggie made with Grandpa Bill and KK using green paint and her hand print. Sometimes she puts her hand up to it and then quickly checks to make sure there is no paint on her hand...she's a little worried about her hands being clean at all times.

Here it is December and the weather is warm enough to be on the beach in shorts. Both of these girls were full of sand by the time we left.

Maggie loves Pumpkins!

We went to the Spooktacular at the Jacksonville Zoo with Ian and Pierce and had SOOOOO much fun! Maggie loved the thousands of pumpkins that were on display.She danced with the pumpkins, her favorite was the one on the right that was carved with a kitty face. She didn't eat any candy but, she had a death grip on it just in case!She went for a ride with Pierce in his Pirate-Ship-Wagon. Pierce was a parrot and Ian was a pirate!She took a ride on the Carousel with E-E.
At the end of the night we were ALL exhausted but it was worth it!

It's October, yeah Fall!

The Sox are in the play-offs and Maggie is showing her team colors. She's hoping Dangerous Dusty Pedroia wins MVP this year.
It's hard to believe that it's pumpkin time again. We tried to find a pumpkin today but, only came home with the two Maggie picked out, which are both her size!

She got a little fresh with the Scarecrow in the corner but, he didn't seem to mind.

Maggie Brown is growing tall, tall, tall. She loves to climb in and out of things with her long legs. She is a little top heavy and will occasionally have a head-knocking spill but, she's getting more and more stable on her feet. She will even jump if you suggest it.

She is currently having a love affair with raisins...she likes to carry her snack-size box around the house (see bottom photo), more raisins end up on the floor than in her mouth. She is also starting to put words together (teddy-bear, tooth-brush, etc). We love her, she is our little sunshine!

It's Football Season!

Maggie Brown is still having a great time growing up. In mid-August she had another check-up and was once again, off the charts in "length". She loves to talk, saying "hi" to birds, Sally, "Bee-is" (Beavis), her pj's, "Bee-ill" (Grandpa Bill), and anyone else she can see. She loves the sounds that cars make "vroom-vroom" and books seem to be her favorite toys. And of course, she loves to "share" (haha) her toys with her best friend, Addy. But most of all, just a couple of weeks ago, Maggie learned the "chop" - just in time for football season!

It's Still Summer Time!

Maggie Brown is still enjoying the summer. Visits to the park ("Quack! Quack!"), a run with Papa, and even helping with some chores around the house!

Cousins

We've been doing quite a bit of visiting with our cousins this summer. We spent the day with Ian in Grandpa Bruce's pool recently. After a swim, we were hungry so Ian fed Maggie some ice cream and cake, it was a sight!


Maggie's getting tall, too tall in fact! Soon she will be able to let herself and the dogs out into the back yard.

We went to cousin Katie's house for her birthday recently. Maggie showed her patriotic side for the event. And look Grandma, we finally found the shoes in my size!!!

More Summer Fun!

We visited St. Augustine last weekend and wandered around a little in the Lightener Museum. Pop and Maggie had a look at some of the huge goldfish in the pond there.
We took another trip to the beach with Addy today. It was funny to watch the two of them toddle around like little wind up toys. They are both really getting the hang of it.
Maggie also ate some sand but, asked me to edit those photos.
She has really taken to walking, she is everywhere! When that bird zigged, Maggie zagged...the poor bird finally had to fly away to shake his Maggie shadow.

Summer Is Here!

Maggie Brown has been very busy so far this summer. Hanging out at Grandpa Bruce's pool, going for bike rides, and more trips to the beach. This past week she's sprouted another tooth and she's even decided to start walking!

As you can see, her favorite food is black beans. Muy bien!

Maggie Brown and Mama took a short bike ride to spend some time at the beach before the weather gets too hot. Maggie enjoys being towed in her bike "chariot" and sometimes even dozes off on the way home. She wasn't sure about the tiny waves at first, but with another tooth coming in, she quickly found something to do!

Happy First Birthday!

On May 7, Maggie Brown turned one year old! All of her grandparents were able to attend her party - and so were her best friends. After opening a few gifts, Maggie dove in to a delicious red velvet cup cake!

Maggie also just had her one year check-up. She is "off the charts" in length at 32.5" and just under 24 lbs. Her favorite words are "Hi!", "dog-dog", "ball", and "Ma-ma". And by a mouthful, her favorite food is Cheerious.

Visits

Maggie has been up to her ears in fun. She had a visit to the beach, a visit to grandma and grandpa (which resulted in a visit to the park where MB did not much care for the slide) and a visit with Monkey Boy, she was out!
